Brief
The client’s goal was a modern, fully functional and extremely fast WooCommerce eshop, able to compete with the big technology stores on user experience and performance. The requirement was for the site to load instantly, even on mobile, and to cover thousands of products and categories.
Frontend goals
The One-Shop user experience was designed around immediacy, clarity and speed. The UI stays simple, legible and tailored to the demanding technology shopper.
Main priorities:
- Deep product categorisation with search filters
- Emphasis on featured products, offers and new technology
- Mobile-first design for a fast experience on every device
- Calls to action in prominent places (e.g. the service form, support, warranty requests)
Backend functionality
The site runs on WordPress + WooCommerce, with a wide range of customisations and tools to cover the store’s complex operations. Special emphasis was put on loading speed and performance optimisation.

Our approach
The challenge was twofold: on one hand, supporting thousands of products and dynamic content; on the other, reaching a score of 100/100 on Google PageSpeed Insights, which we achieved with custom optimisations at server and theme level.
The design was kept functional and focused on conversion, with no unnecessary animations or scripts, so users find what they need straight away.
