What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Some are essential for it to work properly; others are used for statistics or advertising. This policy also covers similar technologies, such as the browser’s local storage.

Under European ePrivacy law (Article 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC), we store on your device only what is strictly necessary, unless you give us explicit consent.

The categories we use

Essential
Always on. They remember your cookie choice, so we don’t ask you on every page. They don’t track you.
Statistics
Only with consent. Through Google Analytics 4 we learn, in aggregate, which pages are read, from which device and how you reached us, so we can improve the website. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses.
Advertising
Only with consent. Through Google Ads we measure whether one of our ads led to an enquiry, so we don’t pay for ads that don’t work. We don’t use remarketing: our ads don’t “follow” you around other websites.

We don’t use cookies from social networks, embedded videos or maps. Our fonts are hosted on our own server, so nothing is loaded from Google for them.

How to change your choices

At any time, from the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it.

You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings:

For Google specifically, there is the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on undefined and your account’s ad settings undefined. How Google uses information from sites that use its services undefined is explained on its own page.

Personal data

For what data we collect, on what legal basis, how long we keep it and how you exercise your rights, see the Privacy Policy. For questions, write to us at info@web-works.gr.
