Brief
MCT needed an English-language corporate website on a par with its international partners. The site had to present the company’s history, its services and its fleet clearly, with each vessel’s technical details readily available to anyone assessing a charter.
Frontend goals
The design rests on large photographs of the fleet at sea, deep marine tones and clean typography, so that the site conveys reliability and experience.
The main goals included:
- Making the business clear from the first screen: what the company does, where and for whom
- Presenting the fleet with a card per vessel and its key specifications (BHP, bollard pull, year built, DP class)
- The company’s key figures at a glance: number of vessels, total horsepower, years of experience
- A separate page for each service: offshore, subsea operations, oil recovery, open sea towage, port operations
- Responsive design for desktop, tablet and mobile
Backend functionality
The website was built on WordPress, so MCT’s team can update content easily without technical help.
We delivered:
- Fleet management with a PDF spec sheet for each vessel
- A Health, Safety & Environment page with the company’s certifications and industry memberships
- A contact form and details for the Greek and Brazilian offices
- GDPR-compliant cookie management
- An SEO-friendly structure
Our approach
MCT’s audience is specialised: energy companies, charterers and partners who want specific information quickly. So we prioritised clarity and well-organised information, and let the images of the fleet do the rest.
Result
MCT now has:
- A modern corporate website presenting its experience and fleet to an international audience
- Organised access to each vessel’s technical details
- A site that is easy to update as the fleet and operations evolve
